Scope : 

- The Head of Data warehouse is responsible for the development, implementation, enhancement and support of all Data warehouse, related reporting covering the following:

- Hadoop data lake

- Core data warehouse in Hadoop

- Regulatory reporting

- MIS

- Analytics as and when required

Responsibilities : 

- Heading the Data Warehouse dept covering all the applications as detailed in the scope and role.

- Responsible for delivering high class and cost effective Hadoop platform.

- Build meaningful and sustainable relationships with business teams across client segment managers, product, and sales and service support managers and other technology partners to optimize resource utilization.

- Defining the Hadoop eco-system and technology strategy to support the business, informed by the business strategy, market trends, and the competitive landscape.

- Lead the execution and delivery of new initiatives as well as providing operational support for solutions in production.

- Managing a team of Business and System Analysts, developers and testers, to achieve the objective across various digital applications.

- Project Management - Estimation and Project planning, resource management, scheduling and deliverables management

- Sound knowledge of data warehouse concepts, and managing large data warehouse projects.

- Good working knowledge of Hadoop.

- Experience in large data warehouse programs.
