Head - Data Science - Telecom (12-18 yrs)
This person would be responsible to lead a team of highly skilled and motivated group of Data Engineers and Data Scientists in a matrix environment and deliver disruptive solutions in the field of Telco analytics leveraging state of the art AI/Data science technology on big data stack.
Job Description:
- Provide thought leadership in solving complex AI/Data science problems
- Work with business and customer stakeholders (both external and internal) to define product objectives and requirements applying Data Science principles to products and solutions across business units.
- Consult with stakeholders to initiate projects aligned to business needs. Manage the project pipeline to ensure prioritization and resourcing. Influence appropriate analytic approaches to provide optimal solutions to customers.
- Liaise with data engineers on building data marts, reports, data warehouse, data pipelines and data tracking mechanisms.
- Work closely with other development teams in design & integration stages
- Work closely with product management team in defining differentiating features which leverage AI/DS
- Work closely with other teams in design & integration stages. Influence decisions on tools, technologies and approaches to be taken in implementing solutions.
- Evangelize AI/DS work done by team internally and externally
- Interact with industry experts to understand and incorporate latest technology innovations
- Encourage diverse viewpoints from team members, maintain innovation-focused & result-oriented work-culture
