Head of Data Science

Purpose of the role :

1. Lead big data technology architecture for the organisation & its group companies.

2. Develop deep learning capabilities.

3. Develop and oversee robust data management rigor.

4. Build a high performing deep learning data scientist and machine learning engineering team

5. Deliver, simultaneous projects working with the Data & Analytics teams in group companies

6. Create organization wide capabilities in Data & Analytics for the organisation & its group companies.

Description of the role :

1. Envision and create distributed computing infrastructure - cloud and on-premise

2. Create a robust data management framework across multiple companies and functions

3. Create deep learning capabilities in computer vision, NLP and voice

4. Deliver high-impact projects using cloud and native ML/DL algorithms

5. Onboard and manage vendor partners to deliver multiple, simultaneous projects

6. Create organizational awareness, adoption and skills for data and analytics

7. Build a strong team of ML engineers and deep learning data scientists

8. Oversight for real-estate analytics and NGO analytics

9. Design and oversee D&A product roadmap for startups

10. Deliver research projects with academic institutions
