Job Description - A global leader in digital fintech services is looking for Head - Data Science for the creation of new and cutting-edge data sciences capabilities

Client Details

Our Client is a financial services technology-based firm and has operations in Latin America, Africa, South east Asia and India. The client is working on developing alternate credit scoring mechanisms and arrive at credit lending decisions in scenarios where credit history of the customer is minimal.

Description

The key responsibilities of Head - Data Science would be to

- Develop new credit rating models using telecom and mobile wallet transaction data

- Build a roadmap for data collection from various sources like telcos, credit bureaus, merchant partners etc.

- Work with the credit policy team to drive P&L outcomes.

- Drive enhancements by Building reports for model monitoring

- Lead a 3-4 Member team of data scientists

Profile

As a successful candidate for Head - Data Science, you should have:

- 3-7 years of experience in data sciences

- Experience in building models using R/Python

- Exposure to risk/fraud strategy development

- Experience in PD model development/validation

- Experience in managing the retail portfolio
