Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and communicate the global data center and cloud strategy, aligned with the overall business goals and technology roadmap.

- Collaborate with C-suite executives and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data center and cloud infrastructure strategies.

- Identify emerging technologies and trends in data center and cloud computing to enhance the organization's competitive advantage.

- Maintain positive relationships with customers by identifying customer needs and overseeing product delivery within the company context.

- Manage and deliver services with Customer attitude to build and improve the perception of Group IT.

2. Data Center Infrastructure Management:

- Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of the global data center facilities, ensuring they meet industry standards and compliance requirements.

- Implement best practices for data center operations, including power and cooling management, equipment deployment, and capacity planning.

- Evaluate and select hardware, networking, and storage solutions to support the organization's data center needs.

3. Cloud Computing Management:

- Develop and execute a global cloud strategy, encompassing public, private, and hybrid cloud environments, to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.

- Manage relationships with cloud service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

- Monitor cloud performance, security, and compliance, implementing necessary measures to maintain high standards.

- Lead transformation programs processes, define requirements, manage delivery expectations, coordinate activities, communication, timelines, manage hours, etc.

4. Security and Compliance:

- Establish and enforce data security and compliance protocols for both data center and cloud environments.

- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and address potential vulnerabilities in data center and cloud infrastructure.

- Stay up to date with industry standards and regulations to ensure the organization's adherence to relevant data protection and privacy laws.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor a team of global data center and cloud professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Set performance goals, conduct regular assessments, and provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing team.
