Overview : - Our Risk and Revenue department is responsible for optimizing the growth of Savii's portfolio and supporting other teams in unlocking business potential. - The team has the mandate to help scale the company as rapidly as possible in a balanced path aligned with our risk appetite. - Our Data Team helps Savii make better business decisions by collecting, standardizing, and transforming data in order to unlock other teams' potential. - Due to continued growth within Savii and the evolution of the data assets we intend to recruit a Head of Data with relevant leadership and communication skills and a proven track record in data management, data science, and data tools. We are seeking a Head of Data to be responsible for developing frameworks, infrastructure, and governing our data in order to drive business and growth. - You will develop data procedures and policies, become an instrumental element for change management and work closely with various departments to collect, standardize, organize, analyze and forecast data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices. - Your duties will also include leading interdisciplinary teams, improving and streamlining data systems within the company, and driving innovation. Duties & Responsibilities : - Bridge business and technology and moderate enterprise data requirements - Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data collection to executive members and staff. - Establish a culture within your organization that normalizes sharing this data and making informed decisions on how to improve future business outcomes. - Designing and implementing data strategies and systems. - Overseeing the collection, storage, management, quality, and protection of data. - Lead technical data interactions and manage critical relationships. - Define and improve on data science methods, toolsets, and processes - Data Governance - Create a governance framework - Collaborate with legal, biz ops, compliance, BI, and infosec cross-functional processes and correct ownership of data - Own and manage data validation processes, resolve weaknesses and manage risks - Implement a data quality framework to establish standards, controls, and associated metrics for all dimensions of data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, reasonability, timeliness, uniqueness, and validity) Qualifications : - BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or any other quantitative field is preferred - Master's degree preferred. - 5 years experience in a senior-level data role - Management experience - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Project management skills - Knowledge of relevant applications, big data solutions, and tools. - Knowledge of data science dynamics and development
