Head - Data Analytics - Retail Firm (10-15 yrs)
Position:
Head-Data Analytics (Leading Retail Co)
Role:
- Work on data analytics more specifically wrt Sales/ Margins and Customer Behaviour, finding growth levers and identifying opportunities for optimisation leading to performance improvement for the business
- Will report to the Chief Marketing Officer
- Will lead and mentor the team, and if required gets his hands dirty and solve analytical problems for the business
- Play a strategic role in leading the data analytics departments in strategy development with regard to the collection, manipulation, and analysis of data for various business functions/departments
- Should have an understanding of the Retail business/ domain
Requirements -
- Master's Degree (PhD Preferred) in Data Science/ Analytics/ Stats/ Applied Maths/ Management/ Economics
- 10+ yrs of experience in analytics with extensive experience in using Data Analytics for the Retail Sector
- Should have led a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise on working over analysis softwares- SAS, Tableau, Python and R, Advanced Excel etc.
- Exposure to modelling
