Job Description :
1. P&L Responsibility - by Managing the Sales and Marketing functions for the FMCG division.
Marketing Responsibilities :
- Formulating business plans & evaluating marketing and sales strategies to meet business goals.
- Create, manage, Co-ordinate and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans that meet and exceed company expectations.
- Develop unique value propositions, category management and call to action oriented advertising towards consumer segments to increase brand awareness.
- Analyse, Evaluate, plan and execute potential marketing strategies and measure the effectiveness of these marketing programs.
- Coach, mentor and raise the team's ability to deliver and exceed expectations.
- To Improve Gross Margins for the Division, thru initiatives and avoiding price leakage.
- To meet Marketing objectives of Awareness, Trials, Repeat and Loyalty thru a combination of sales and marketing programs
- To improve Marketing program efficiency.
- Oversee interaction with Creative, Media and Market research agencies.
Sales Responsibilities :
- Formulate and Execute National Sales, Distribution, Organization, Promotion strategies for the division.
- Establish performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitor performance on a continuous basis.
- Direct Sales Department to achieve objectives established in the company's strategic plan.
- Norms and Benchmarks for Market Coverage, working Efficiency and Presence.
- Infrastructure Plan, implementation, Sustenance and Development
- Markets, Distributors, routes, Outlets, sales members.
- Oversee Terms of trade finalization, Joint Business Planning, Promotions, SKU registration - with Modern Trade Channel.
- Oversee all Recruitment, Induction, Management, and Development of the team into a Stable, Cohesive, Energetic and Efficient team.
- New Product introduction, plan, launch execution and feedback.
- Claim Settlement and Customer satisfaction
- Receivables, Account receivable turns, distributor settlements.
- Forecasting, Inventory turns, and Managing stocks at various locations at the right time.
- Organization Skill Development and Productivity
- Policies, Systems and Processes
- Market Reputation and Competitive Advantage.
