- To develop an effective CSR programme encompassing environment, workplace, community and Market place issues that will deliver agreed CSR targets.

- To be a part of a CSR Steering Group within the organization tasked with formulating and recommending CSR policies, activities and expenditure, as well as monitor and report to the Steering Committee

- To operationalize the CSR mechanism to deliver CSR strategy and programmes

- To manage the contracting, budgeting, monitoring, impact measurement and reporting of CSR programmes and activations

- Understand industry standards for measurement and establish CSR performance indicators to bring the organization in line

- To develop and author an annual CSR report that provides clear direction on strategy, delivery and performance.

- Establish CSR partnerships, continue due diligence mechanisms and develop relationships with key business contacts

- Ensure effective communication methods are in place to communicate business ethics, CSR targets and performance

- Work closely with Corporate Communications on the organization's branding strategy (internal and external) as well as reaching out to the public via PR and marketing to deliver the message organization's commitment to social responsibility

- To establish a mechanism and strategy to engage internal stakeholders and establish a network of CSR Champions within the organization

- Act as one of the main point of contacts for Business in the Community, including government bodies, associations, foundations and other relevant organizations.
