Head - Credit & Risk

Roles & Responsibilities :

This role will focus on designing and building the risk and underwriting framework for the most innovative lending platform in India.

Candidate will be responsible for :

- Setting the vision and strategy for the credit and risk function working in collaboration with a senior leadership team

- Creation of the risk and underwriting policies, infrastructure, development and implementation of underwriting models, risk decision strategies and fraud detection

- Analyzing and reporting risk information to senior management and the Board

- Analyzing and interpreting the impact of credit and risk strategies while working under broader corporate goals

- Management of full-life-cycle and straddle credit-and non-credit functions (initially)

Candidate Requirements :

- MBA from a top Business School or PHD/MS from IIT or other top Engineering Colleges

- 8-15 years of rich experience in managing and driving Credit and Risk function encompassing predominantly Retail Credit and Risk with Banks, NBFC's or Fin Tech Companies

- Deep knowledge of scorecards, credit policies and risk management in both unsecured and secured context

- Experience in validating and implementing risk models and strategies

- Exposure to analytics would be an added advantage
