Job Description: Looking for a Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant with 10 - 12 years of proven Finance Leadership experience - Expert knowledge of and proven experience in handling complex costing interventions - Proven experience in managing and developing a large team of finance professionals in MNC environment preferably in a pharmaceutical and Chemical industries - Working experience on accounting software like Oracle or SAP, Well versed with MS Excel, MS Word and Power Point, Team Player - works co-operatively and productively with others; openly exchanging information and supporting colleagues from around the organization to achieve business goals - Continuously identifies opportunities for process improvement with an eye for detail - Establishes priorities, tasks and work schedules in advance. Key responsibilities of the Role Product costing - Understanding of API or Formulation manufacturing process - Understanding yield computations of raw material - Updating BOM or regular basis - Handling cost audit - Overhead absorption Monthly analysis - Inventory valuation and provisioning - Ageing analysis - RM Purchase price variance - Review of Yield variance - Run material ledger - Expert knowledge of SAP (MUST) - Gross margin analysis Accounting - Plant Accounts payable - Duty drawback - Excise duty / GST reco - Rule 6 Rule 7 reversals - Understanding Indirect Tax structures - Handling Inter Unit billing and duty payments (DTA-SEZ and vice versa) Process - Control over CMO operations - Control over P2P and LL operations
