Hiring for Head - Corporate Sales for one of the largest Regional newspaper group of India based at Gurgaon.

Candidates must Have TV, Radio ad Digital working experience


Location : Gurgaon

Role : Corporate Sales - Pan India ; National Role

Education : MBA/PGDM from a recognized institution

CTC : As per Industry Standard

Industry : Media ( Regional Newspaper)

Exp : 15-20 years work experience in media sales (more experience in television and radio preferred) professional experience in marketing with media exposure, Experience in marketing and media buying preferred (e.g. with large corporates in FMCG, Auto, e-commerce, BFSI or with agencies)

Working Conditions : Regular, 6 days working

Job Purpose

- Achieving revenue goals for media sales for Client's media assets in the corporate segment

- Leading the corporate sales team across print, radio, and digital

- Building and growing strong relationships and partnerships with leading corporates across sectors including FMCG, Auto, e-commerce, BFSI

The primary responsibilities are as below, but is not limited to:

1. Growing corporate sales business across all multi-media assets: to achieve potential in large segments such as FMCG, BFSI, e-commerce, Auto

2. Building & leading a corporate Sales team across locations: Attracting talent across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, on-boarding and training team members, tracking progress and driving towards achieving goals

3. Relationship building with corporate advertisers: Working with top management and marketing leaders in large corporates to build a relationship, pitch media assets and lead the development and presentation of custom propositions

4. Developing alliances & partnerships for sales: Identifying potential partnerships based on synergies to boosts sales and executing the partnerships, contributing to offline sales

5. Optimizing corporate sales funnel: Optimizing the corporate sales cycle to bring efficiency at different stages (e.g. proposal development, pitch cycle, commercial structure design, negotiation)

6. Providing inputs to strategic initiatives: collaborating with strategic initiatives team to build and design concepts for growth in corporate sales

7. Framing the Corporate Sales plan: Identifying target segments, geographies, potential clients to develop a robust corporate sales pipeline

Skills and capability

- Strong network among marketing leadership and top management of large corporates including in FMCG, Auto, Ecommerce, BFSI and PSUs

- Strong business development skills and acumen; ability to conceptualize and convert large deals

- Ability to lead, inspire and manage sales teams, including implementing basic sales discipline and processes

- Strong team leadership, management, communication & interpersonal skills

- Achieving revenue goals for the media sales in the corporate segment

- Significant experience in leading a high performing sales team
