Head - Corporate Finance - Steel & Mining Business (10-25 yrs)

We have been mandated by a large conglomerate into Steel and mining business.

Position Name : Head Corporate Finance

Location : Mumbai

Qualification : CA/ICWA, MBA/PGDM (Finance)

Experience : 10-25 years

Key Responsibilities:

- The Corporate Finance team is focused on raising long term capital for the company from banks and markets, optimizing the capital structure, improving the covenants and tenor of the debt and by diversifying sources of financing on a continuous basis.

- The person will be required to regularly engage with domestic and international rating agencies, analyse the company's performance in line with the credit rating agencies- rating methodology for better positioning of the credit and communicate the company's views effectively and in a timely manner.

- Interaction with internal teams will be necessary to understand the business case and recognising constraints to be kept in mind while financing.

Requirements :

- Drive the formation of a global best-in-class Corporate Finance team; ensure design and implementation of systems and processes to monitor and analyze financial covenants, leading improvements in financing agreements, securing finance from new sources, diversifying capital raising and structuring opportunities etc. and present it to senior management for further action.

- Good experience in large transaction in equity and debt financing.

- Oversee the design of financial models for overall Group as well as entity-level profitability analysis.

- Assess liquidity of the business on a regular basis and negotiate better terms with banks to optimize utilization of available cash and provide flexibility to the business
