Head - Corporate Banking Group - Bank

A Pan-India position. A Senior Leadership position in the bank reporting directly to Country Head & CEO (India)

Candidate should possess hands on, in various segments in Corporate Banking / Commercial Banking including Business development, analysis, appraisal and Corporate Relationship building and managing.

Qualifications : Graduate/Post-graduate; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities :

1. Business Development :

(a) Corporate Asset growth for the Country.

(b) Corporate Liability growth and achieving the Net Interest Income levels for the Bank in India.

(c) Build asset portfolio through ECBs/ECAs, at HO level from Indian Corporate

(d) To devise plans and strategies in achievement of the Business Targets in the Corporate Segment.

2. (a) Take initiative in meeting the Regulatory, Policies, guidelines and other requirements in the Business areas.

(b) Timely & effective compliance to various Audit / IC findings in respect of Corporate Banking Department.

(c) To constantly follow the market and suggest new products, improvements / modifications in the existing products / policies.

3. People Management and leadership :

(a) Maintain close liaison with top customers and functionaries.

(b) To engage the teams in marketing of Corporate Liabilities, Trade Finance products, etc. and to improve the wallet share of each relationship.

4. Ensuring acceptable Asset Quality, and work out solutions where warranted.

5. To lead, develop and direct all the CBD staff in different locations and provide guidance for achieving their Objectives / Goals.

6. To continuously look for market information, reports, statistics etc. in the Industry segments where Bank has exposure, and suggest increase / reduction in exposure norms.

7. Strategizing the growth objectives for the Bank on Corporate Assets, Liabilities and investments.

8. Maintain a close interaction with Head Office
