Head Corporate Affairs and Government relations for a market leading leading unicorn B2B and D2C brand

- A market leading start up, which recently achieved unicorn status backed by leading PE firms is looking for a Head of Corporate Affair and Government Relations to be responsible for monitoring and supporting government relationships for the company. More specifically :

- Be responsible for government affairs strategies that helps support the company's mission and growth with relevant government officials

- Build and maintain relationships with relevant and key decision-makers, policymakers, government officials, industry stakeholders. Build relationships and facilitate interactions with relevant government ministries/departments, regulatory bodies, industry partners, politicians, think-tanks etc.

- Manage tactical situations which involve interacting with government entities

- Strategize and participate in the development and execution of policies that will help manage government relations in line with the company's priorities

Qualifications :

- 15+ years of experience in government relations with leading corporates

- Thorough knowledge of government structures and decision-making processes/applicable regulations.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to form and maintain relationships with government officials and government entities

- Skilled in advocacy and persuasion

- Ability to prepare a variety of written communications including white papers, reports etc.
