Position: Head - Corporate Affairs  Location : Mumbai/Pune   Reporting Relationship :  Executive Vice President Corporate Affairs  Company Background :  A leading Fertilizer and Petrochemical Company  Responsibilities :  - Coordinate with various ministries and provide inputs to the management on various issues.  - Assist in following up on the availability of subsidized raw material (Urea, DAP, MoP) for production of customized fertilizers  - Keep track of any move on change in policy related to fertilizers, subsidy, pricing, etc.  - Submission of proposals for new product introduction to the Ministry of Agriculture for inclusion in FCO & then follow up with DOF for inclusion in subsidy scheme.  - Obtain approvals for Terminal Market / Wholesale Market Establishments  - Coordinate for promotion of Indian F&V in European & UK Market and also at times settle issues  - Coordinate for exemptions on Excise / VAT / Service Tax on Packing Material / Services purchased / used for Exports of F&V  - Study various provisions under anti-dumping laws and provide the management details which are critical for initiation of anti-dumping investigations  - Obtain requisite statutory approvals for setting up of new manufacturing facility from various statutory authorities   - Liaise / coordinate with DIPP / Office of Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur and Ministry of Home Affairs with various matters related to TAN Sector  - Liaise / coordinate with concerned government authorities on follow up of various matters pertaining to VARE & Mining Sector  Candidate Profile :  - Any graduate / post graduate  - Good rapport with various ministries and professional bodies  - A sound understanding of the highly regulated Fertilizer and Petrochemicals sector and an ability to interpret the relevant regulatory framework governing these industries.  - To keep track of govt. circulars, meetings & outcome of ministries on policy decisions  - Ability to develop suitable and pertinent networking among the right circle and to lobby and articulate Company's viewpoints to impact key persons / groups involved in policy
