Roles and Responsibilities

- This role forms part of our Global Control Assurance team, which is a key element of our Financial Control Pillar. The Global Control Assurance teams responsibility is to lead in the development and maintenance of a robust control framework to facilitate a strong compliance environment at Company.

- As part of this role, you will work collaboratively with Group Finance, Global Functions, Internal Audit, Regional and Market finance teams on all aspects of finance policy, process, and risk.

The key responsibilities of this role include implementing best practices and contribute to the education of our global business by actively focusing on:

- Policy development and maintenance

- Provision of policy training

- Provision of practical guidance on how to apply policy

- Policy development and maintenance

- Lead on the process of maintaining and developing our finance policies, Internal Control Framework and Global Delegation of Authorities; driving standardisation/harmonisation where possible.

- Contribute to the maintenance of the Global Finance Risk Register (GFRR): identify key risks in relation to the finance function and the appropriate mitigating controls.

- Work with global and local process owners to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and align them to the relevant Global Finance Policies.

Professional skills :

- Fully qualified CA with background in Audit, Accounting and/or Risk; with 12+ years experience in a large international company.

- Demonstrable experience of leading design, development and implementation of policy and processes in a regulatory and/or other challenging environment.

- A successful track record of driving initiatives forward and managing change in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Attributes :

- Excellent stakeholder management experience

- Strong communication skills (verbal & written). Able to communicate and influence effectively with various stakeholders, across different regions and levels.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an international environment with people at all organizational levels by establishing positive and productive working relationships

- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and/ or the ability to analyse complex concepts and work with uncertainty to solve problems and make effective policy recommendations

- Solution driven

- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

- Agile and flexible to changing needs and adhoc requirements
