Head - Content & Copy - EdTech (8-10 yrs)

The key deliverables are -

- Custodian of the brand, website, and business programmes content experience.

- You will be tasked with building a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online. This involves developing content strategies and managing a content & copy team among other duties.

- Candidates needs to be an expert in Content Development (Experience in creating various types of content such as social media content, digital ads, brochures, eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, blogs, etc.)

- The candidate will manage a team of copywriters and content creators, social media creative agencies & liaise closely with the website tech team to plan, create and distribute content effectively.

- Will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as demonstrating sound leadership and decision-making ability.

Core Responsibilities:

- Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties

- Manage content across all platforms, including email and social media and edit submissions according to brand guidelines.

- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content.

- Implementing SEO best practices to ensure all content ranks well and demonstrates an understanding of the business's target audience. Must be Data-driven and Highly Analytical.

- Knowing which platform different kinds of content are best suited to.

- Designing and implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content. Must have a visual creative flair.

- Experience in producing smart CTAs and Headlines according to the TG lifecycle stage.

- Research our customers' lifecycles and how they interact with our partner brand to understand the best ways to communicate our business and programmes.

- Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas.

- Provide editorial, creative, and technical support to team members.

- Track web analytics (in coordination with cross-functional teams) to ascertain content engagement levels.

Requirements -

- Bachelor's/PG degree in communications, journalism, English or related field.

- 8-10 years of agency experience in a similar role.

- Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Highly computer literate.

- Proficiency with popular content management systems.

- Experience with social media management.

- Creativity and the ability to develop original content.

- Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.

- Strong leadership qualities.
