Title:Head - Connected Device Administratively: CTO Functionally: CTO Qualification: BE/ME in Electronics/Computer Science from a Reputed Institute Experience: 20+ yrs. in Automotive domain in a Tier 1 or OEM. Last 3/4 years in Connected Domain. Working Conditions: This role is based in NCR office, but could involve travel based on business needs. Job Responsibility: - Introduction of new products/ technology for the connected Domain as per the business needs with the required approvals by leading a group of Hardware , Application , Firmware and Mobile Apps - Develop Products and services to drive Business Goal for connected Vertical - Evaluation and Feasibility analysis of technical requirements - Managing Tech Proposals and Tech Reviews - Driving Value Proposition of Connected to Vehicle Owners - Creating Innovative application areas / Use cases for connected - Vehicle Prognosis and Personalisation of Vehicles - Sound Knowledge of GSM technologies and Evolution in GSM technology area - Familiarity with CAN protocols - J1939 / 15765 / ISO11429 and KWP 2000 - Cyber Security issues - CAN firewall, Key management , Penetration analysis and Evolving standards there in. - IT infrastructure for Hosting, Sizing and Planning, Data security. - Plan appropriate competency development, approve training for group members - Performance reviews and regular feedback for team members - Recruitment planning for group as per skill metrics and team composition pyramid - Team building activities - Communication of identified measures and tracking implementation of measures - Contribution to department / section / organization goals & initiatives - Manage project risks by evaluating risks periodically and proposing mitigation plans
