Position Specification : Head - Compliance, NBFC The Role : - We are looking for an individual with excellent track record of managing regulatory compliance and internal vigilance function for a company who can help us set up an NBFC entity. The incumbent should have complete knowledge of the regulations governing an NBFC, the process to set up one and experience dealing with RBI and other regulatory bodies. - Reporting to the CFO, this role will be based in Bangalore. Key Responsibilities : - As the first employee of this entity, the person will be responsible for the complete set up of the compliance function - The person will be the point of contact for RBI and will be responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements - Interacting with RBI in matters related to regulatory and supervisory issues - Compliance monitoring and risk categorization and Regulatory correspondences with all Regulators - Develop and maintain regulatory policies and procedures under the Compliance Program, including review mechanisms to ensure its continuous effectiveness in ensuring all applicable compliances by the company. - Manage day-to-day operations of the Program and collaborate with cross functional teams to facilitate implementation of compliance requirements at all levels/process of the organization and to direct compliance issues to existing channels for resolution. - Ensure compliance with the statutory requirements and regulations prescribed for NBFC by RBI and all other applicable legislation. - Develop world class internal governance standards, working with the board and other stakeholders - Submission of RBI indent related data and lead the team to perform Pre-RBI inspection and report finalization thereof Candidate Profile : Specifically, the candidate should have : - 10 - 15 years of hands on experience in leadership roles managing end to end compliance function - Exceptional experience in Compliance, Regulatory, Fraud, Risk Management &amp; Online Operations - Extensive experience of compliance against RBI, Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and other such regulatory bodies/instruments. - Proven ability in successfully managing the compliance function in highly dynamic environment - Entrepreneurial mind set and ability to think out of the box
