This role is with one of the leading NBFC in Northern India. This person will be responsible for overseeing compliance within an organization, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures. As the compliance Head, This person will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations. Below are responsibilities for this role. - Managing compliance - Managing regulatory relations - Review of and managing internal control mechanism through different types of audit programs - Managing Governance & Internal Control Framework - Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and enhancing regulatory relations - Prepare audit plans and ensure that audits are performed as per approved scope and audit program - Ensure that audit effort is aimed at reviewing the existence and appropriateness of systems/procedures for various processes - Review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems & processes, reliability of reporting, compliance with policies & procedures, applicable laws, and regulations Must have - 8+ years of experience with NBFCs with audit/compliance exposure - Ability, knowledge and direct experience of designing audit processes and systems
