We have been retained by our client, a Multinational Bank to identify a Head - Compliance (Information Technology) to be based at Mumbai. Job Purpose: To lead and participate to the setup function to achieve Governance Compliance and clean audit for Information Technology of the organisation. Responsibilities: - Develop, initiate,, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the Information Security, Business Continuity and Quality assurance operation of the IT Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. - Responsible for execution, planning, documentation &amp; administration of IT Governance. - Preparation of IT Strategy document and other IT Policies and Process to comply with the notification of RBI on IT Governance and Information Security. - Lead and conduct internal and external audits and review on behalf of the bank to identify risks, document established controls to mitigate risk and assess the control environment of each auditable unit. - Conduct effective and efficient IT and project audit work. - Provide recommendations to improve the control environment. - Tracking of timely implementation of security patches, timely up-dation of software versions to be on latest versions and tracking and closure of security compliance as per Bank Policies. - Demonstrating the effectiveness of risk management to investors, analysts and regulators. - Supporting CTO to ensure IT policies and regulatory requirements are complied with. KPI are maintained and update to IT steering meeting. Desired Skills: - Experience in Information Security Strategy planning, defining Information Security framework, Security Policy planning. - Knowledge of compliance and IT Governance matters - Ability to assess Risk, analytical skills and attention to detail - Should have positive attitude and be self-motivated. - Good managerial skills to lead a team. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strategic thinker, keeping big picture in mind while ensuring execution excellence. Candidate Profile - Candidates must have minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in establishing &amp; managing Governance-Risk-Compliance-Audits in Information Technology of a large Bank / Organisation. - CGEIT, CRISC Certifications are essential.
