Head - Compliance - Education

Head Compliance- For a Upcoming Chain of Schools- Ahmedabad/ Bangalore/Baroda

- Candidate should be Law Graduate with 10 plus years of experience. Prior Experience in education sector (trust laws, arms-length laws, leases, service contracts, intellectual property work, labor laws, collections) a strong plus

Candidate will be responsible for:

- Review and implement franchisee contracts

- Provide insights to senior management on legal complexities impacting company business

- Proactively engage with Finance and Operations team to assist in recovery of dues

- Engage in business and profitability review of contracts with reference to enforcement of contractual commitments and analyze reasons for non-adherence to contracts

- Assist supply chain team in preparation of supplier contracts.

- Check all paperwork / Quality and Timelines of Term Sheets, Contracts, LOI/MOU

- Implementation/ management of Corporate Compliances including PF, ESI, Maternity Benefit Act, Bonus Act, Model Standing Orders, Company law, Trust Act, Contract Labour Laws etc.

- Obtaining of applicable registrations, licenses and renewals.

- Formulation and execution of compliance policies.

- Data Management, MIS & reporting

- Efficient with MS- Office, Internet, Technology

- Strong co-ordination skills.

- Confident self-starter
