Head - Compliance - BFSI - LLB (15-20 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all Regulatory and Statutory Compliances for the organization
Responsible for :
- Preparing and Maintaining the Compliance Policy & Manual, Compliance Checklist
- Formulating and Implementing Internal and Regulatory driven policies
- Developing a compliance culture across the organization
- Working with stakeholders to the solution and ensure frictionless processes.
- Ensuring proper interpretation and guidance to business units on regulatory matters
- Prompt action on compliance issues
- Dissemination of directives, circulars, advisories and important communications.
- Monitoring Compliance with Internal Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines
- Performing and Reporting on Comprehensive Compliance Testing Periodically
- Act as the point of contact for
- Regulators like RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, etc
- Quasi-Regulators like FIU, NPCI, IBA
- Statutory Bodies
- Government Departments
- Law Enforcement Agencies
- Any Other Entity as may be necessary to interact with.
Key Requirements :
- Graduate/PostGraduate with minimum 20+ years of experience in compliance
- Experience working for large banks, ideally in a start-up environment
- Deep relationships with regulators at various levels and across various departments
- Proven track record of setting up compliance function grounds up for an Indian Bank
- Work with a lean team in fintech environment and ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment
- Conversant with implementing large scale operations with BC and digital business
- Experience in handling RBI audits
