Job Description:
1. Design and lead the India & Global Compensation and Benefits policies and practices
2. Monitor and design Syntel's Global salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining the right talent;
3. Research and analyze salary trends and benefits offered by other employers in the comparator basket;
4. Undertake Job Evaluations to ensure that correctly align roles/ jobs to their righteous levels and rightfully justify the variation in salary between those doing different jobs within the organization;
5. Coordinate compensation processes - salary planning, annual variable pay planning and various incentive scheme development
6. Design, develop and implement new benefit packages - ensure competitiveness and relevance of salary structures in line with legal and statutory requirements;
7. Lead various HR Projects/ Interventions - not restricted to C&B sub-function
8. Be the custodian of HR KPIs and facilitate the HR Engagement forums
9. Train and act as an internal consultant to HR Business Partners and Line Managers on matters related to Job Evaluation and Compensation and Benefits
10. Lead the HR Budget process and ensure the same is in sync with Business prerogatives and Plan
11. Lead the delivery of various HR reports required for Function, Business and Region (APAC/ Global) on a timely basis
12. Lead and drive the overall HR IT agenda of Business in close coordination with IT and Business Leaders - drive the HR IT imperatives through Manager - IT Business Process Solution
13. Effective and timely management of all Employee HRMIS, Payroll and C&B related processes
