Head/Company Secretary - Port/Terminalling/Storage & Infrastructure Firm

Our client is a leading port Terminalling, storage and Infrastructure company headquartered in Chennai, looking to hire Company Secretary Head.

Note: Looking for candidates with earlier experience from Big4 Consulting firm only

- The role will be responsible to act independently of the Board to provide advice on all corporate governance matters to the Board and the Chairman and to monitor the Organization's compliance with the law, Standing Orders and Department of Health guidance- .

- Managing a portfolio of specialist functions within the Corporate Secretariat, the Secretary has responsibility for developing and sustaining a platform for excellence in Corporate Governance, as well as overseeing all legal, regulatory and compliance issues across the Organization.

- Reporting to the Chairman and Chief Executive, the Company Secretary has equal seniority to that of a Director of the Organization, and will support the Chairman and the Board in the achievement of strategic objectives.

- The Company Secretary will establish arrangements for sound corporate governance, including the Organization's governance rationale and associated governance framework and provisions to ensure compliance.
