- Ensure timely procurement of materials/services with the objective of minimising cost to the company.

- Responsible for End to end Activity of Importing HCS Wire Rod and converting Wire Rod to HTGS Wire.

- Prepare, maintain and update adatabaseof contact details and customer informationof smelters across the world.

- Prepare & review performance reports related to scheduling & receipts, Inventory, Quality rating, Import Tracking, etc.

- Improve Working Capital by reducing lead time & increasing credit periods.

- Targeting of Export benefit on steel through DBK / Invalidation of licences etc.,
