Head - Commercial &amp; Procurement Job Responsibilities : - The role is responsible for strategizing, planning and overseeing all commercial, procurement and supply chain activities across projects. - Providing expertise in commercial discussions/negotiations process with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers as needed with the objective of overseeing optimal financial management across projects, maximizing profitability and minimizing financial risks while adhering to financial objectives and commercial guidelines. - Devise procurement, supply chain and logistics strategy for meeting business requirements, optimizing sub-contractor mix, leveraging synergy of operational activities across businesses/ projects and reducing overall operational costs. Candidate Profile : - Years of experience : 18 years to 25 years. - Qualification : Must hold a full time engineering / surveying degree. Skill sets required : - At least 5 years of experience in heading the commercial function. - Strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills. - Knowledge of legal aspects relevant to contracting. - Must have complete understanding of the procurement, logistics and supply chain process. - Knowledge of financial statements and P&amp;L statements. - Risk management. - Multi-stakeholder management. - People management. - Should have experience of handling the commercial function in the Buildings (residential townships / mixed use complex / industrial complex) vertical. - Sector expertise : Candidate with experience in handling the commercial and procurement function with EPC / real estate developers will be suitable for this role.
