Head - Commercial & Procurement - Insurance (8-15 yrs)
Job Opening for Head- Commercial & Procurement with Leading Insurance Company
1. Lead, own and drive procurement & turnkey negotiations across the organisation with an impact on reducing cost of operations.
2. Define a procurement strategy based on Contours of strategic, tactical and operational procurement
3. Map centralised vs. de-centralised procurement.
4. Ensure prescribed process is followed
5. Ensure optimal sourcing solutions on parameters of risk, economics, service abilities and operations.
6. Ensuring process is transparent, there are no leakage in the and commercials are awarded within the budgets approved
7. Pro-actively undertake periodic spend and cost based review to identify areas of cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
8. SLA monitoring & Supplier relationship management
9. Coordination with Infosec, Risk and Compliance team on vendor empanelment to adhere to IRDAI norms on outsourcing
10. Oversee the formulation of an early warning system and drive resolution of problems/escalations in a preventive manner in order to avoid major service failures
