Job Purpose - Play an active role in driving company India's growth by acting as an advisor to the Management team for key business decisions by providing strategic inputs. - Lead and manage the Commercial Accounting & Management Accounting vertical - In collaboration with Regional Commercial team, support the Regional Sales teams/Distributors (Business Partners) in development of their businesses and ensuring compliance to Company's India business guidelines. - Actively contribute in the process of annual Budget creation and keep a tab on the execution of budget & plans through regular financial analysis - Identify the areas/ processes for enhancement/ improvements in Commercial Accounting & Management Accounting vertical and create strategies for action around it - Create agility (within the department) to respond to environmental changes, business evolutionsand economic changes. - Focus on people development to ensure their readiness for future business needs Organizational Relationships Internal: Management team, Department Heads, World Wide Finance Team, Plant Finance, APAC team, Regional Sales teams, Marketing team External: Distributors, Executive Managers Roles and Responsibilities Commercial - Responsible for end to end Commercial Operations. - Through research, analysis and field experience, develop business and share financial recommendations for top line & bottom line growth &business expansion - Strategize, design and implement the rewards and recognition schemes in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams. - Drive profitability through focus on ROI on scheme spends, cost controls and collections management. - Ensure compliance to business process, policies and legal procedures by the Distributors. - Along with the Regional Commercial team, engage regularly with the Distributors to monitor their business movement Management Accounting - Prepare and finalize the Annual Operating plan (AOP) & budget for the organization in alignment with the Management team - Monitor and analyze the AOP through the year. - Own the P&L of the organization - Conduct regular financial analysis to identify, alleviate, manage probable financial risks - Analyze Sales & Company performance and contribute in respective action planning through forecast, data & trends. People Development - Create a sense of belongingness and team bonding within the team - Develop the team members by exposing them to areas beyond their regular work - Groom the people managers on people skills to help them become strong future leaders - Inspire the team to outperform Education: Chartered Accountant/ MBA Finance Experience: 12-15 years of relevant experience in Finance domain.
