Head - Commercial Finance - BFS - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (12-16 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for operational efficiencies, controls and cost management for Operations. This is end-to-end responsibility for business partnering as well as management of AP, Financial Accounting, Reporting and Compliance.
- Role will also lead Procurement function
1. Partner extensively with FTL and PTL Operations Heads to lead and direct cost and infrastructure strategy formulation. Take necessary actions to ensure integrity and accuracy in all cost matters for business divisions incl. (but not limited to) driving cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.
2. Be the trusted advisor of Operations teams in creation of forward looking plans for network, field infrastructure, 3rd party contracts for various services in the field. Help Operation Heads in areas like optimizing fixed vs variable capacities, fixed rate vs spot rate contracts, HO sourcing items vs Field sourcing items, service vs cost of service, etc
3. Create awareness of the importance of capacity utilization given the fixed capacity nature of business. Identify, recommend and drive opportunities to improve. Contribute to enhancement of commercial capability of Ops teams.
4. Lead Cost reduction initiatives from finance side and work with Operations teams both at the Head Office and field to drive the execution. This would require developing a deep understanding of cost factors and close interaction with the Operations team members.
Educational Qualifications : CA/MBA - Finance (Premier B - School)
