Head Commercial ( Females ) Fertiliser Business Position : Head Commercial ( Female Candidates ) New Delhi Experience : 10-20 Years Salary Band : Rs 20-50 Lacs The Client is the country's top zinc producer and a part of a leading group & has diversified in the fertilizers business in di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) products category Role & Responsibilities : - Commercial strategy and governance - Define, build and implement the commercial strategy for Fertilizer Business, in line with business needs and Group guidelines - Devise and develop policies to ensure transparency of commercial function and its transactions. - Make effective governance process to ensure policy adherence and compliance - Lead medium to long term commercial planning to ensure revenue optimization, budget delivery and efficient working capital management for RM, FG, Engineering Spares & Consumables. - Contribute to strategic decision making through membership of internal forums like Ex-Co, Insurance Council and Group level committees - Define Risks and arrive at Risk Mitigation Plan to ensure bottom-line and insulate the business from fluctuations. - Contract management Design and model contracts which covers the end to end value chain and linked to output - Ensure that the contractors are abiding by the safety guidelines and their safety is not endangered - Liaison with business teams for smooth contract operations and manage the relationships Ensure no penalty, liability rests on the company Ensure closure of arbitration if any Find out ways of increasing revenue and decreasing cost in the contract - Logistics management - Addressing in bound and outbound logistics in terms of TAT, Warehouse, Transportation Spend, on-time delivery to the channel. - Ensure fertilizer finished goods are delivered to the customers based on the agreed SLA within time and cost. - Ensure recovery of payment happens on time as per the contract guidelines - Automating the supply chain to ensure governance and avoiding manual interface (GPS, RFID, Gate Control, etc) - Vendor management Risk Mitigation wherever single party vendors are present - Ensure that the outsourced activities are contracted to reliable vendors/contractors at competitive and benchmarked prices - Ensure TPM/TQM concepts are followed for al engineering spares required for ensuring quality. - Consolidate requirement across units in order to reduce the number of vendors and negotiate bulk contracts at competitive prices - Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers and carry out due diligence of new vendors - Ensure vendor performance is monitored on a regular basis. - Drive contractor safety through defined processes . Revenue optimization - Lead and manage overall commercial function in fertilizer business , thereby creating additional revenue generation avenue - Support to generate additional value for the business - Inventory Management for FG, RM & Engineering Spares to be benchmarked. - Support innovation and transformation to bring in additional revenue. Team development Participate in recruitment process to identify right talent for various positions within own team Establish individual performance KRA : To lead and manage the commercial function comprising procurement of goods and services, transportation, warehousing, logistics, distribution of finished goods and supply chain, sales of by-products, waste and residues, by business partnering with the operations / sales and allied functions and the external stakeholders aimed towards realization of the business objectives. The key pillars on which the role is based include governance, cost, automation, best in class process efficiencies and engagement with partners.
