Head - Collections - Retail Lending - NBFC (6-16 yrs)

We are hiring for the role of Collections Head for a leading NBFC in Mumbai location. Candidate working as National Manager or AVP, VP into retail lending collections will be a perfect fit for this role. Candidate who is working with any Bank or NBFC can only apply for the same (we are not looking form other industry). Please find the given JD for your references.

JD Collections Head :

- The Head of Collections is responsible for managing a delinquency free Loan portfolio. The incumbent is required to do this in a cost optimal manner and also ensure that there are no adverse fallouts due to the collections means employed.

- Managing end to end collections for the secured and unsecured lending business

- Building a robust collection team from scratch - both in-house and 3rd party workforce

- Responsible for the development, monitoring and implementation of Loans Collections strategies

- Identify and pursue opportunities that enhance the collectability of / financial return upon impaired assets by improving the decision tools, treatments and strategies used within Loans Collections processes

- Setting up fraud management and operations practices to reduce delinquency ratios

- Own the day-day relationship with Credit Operations to execute strategies and enable delivery of portfolio Collections performance in line with agreed business plan and service level agreements.

- Publish key management information and collection scorecards on a regular basis to support business direction

- Audit, review & document Collections policies, strategies & practices.

- He is required to build the necessary analytic models to provide feedback to the underwriting team on fine tuning their underwriting efforts so as to avoid on boarding risky profiles.

- He is required to set up sound Collections processes while adhering to the Fair Practices Code.
