Head - Collections - Retail Business (20-30 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Heading collections of Retail Business for all products (Primarily Two Wheeler)
- Responsible for decision making for the organization, business planning, procedures, policies, manpower planning & budgeting
- Operationally responsible for Managing Book size
- Digital Collections and Strategy will also be part of the role
- Instrumental in setting up the entire Debt Collections organization for the company spread across PAN India
- Responsible for putting up a fully new structure for the frontend collections to build & improve efficiencies for the soft &Hard bucket collection management.
- Implementation of the collections process, procedures, MIS & reporting tools, review mechanism till the last mile collector for an uniform & standardized process adherence across the country
- Curtailment of frontend flows to save on portfolio provisioning & NPA
- Responsible for formulation of Debt Collections strategy for improved performance indicators, product profitability & optimization of cost of collections for the group
- Oversight of the external call center operations
- Welcome & Awareness Calling strategy & implementation to improve portfolio quality
- Responsible for technology implementation for platform enablers like collection system & tablet/ handheld device usage for customer lifecycle management, till the last mile.
- Training & development of the collections department on-roll employees
- Responsible for execution of the legal collections strategy & execution of the same for the chronic delinquent portfolio
- Initiation & execution of repossession & surrender of assets for chronic defaulters
