Key Responsibilities :
Managerial Responsibilities :
- Manage the overall coordination of collection and recovery activities for the zone within the collections team
- Hiring and training to create an efficient & robust team for effective delivery on budgeted outcomes
- Monitor & review the activities of the zonal collections teams for achievement of collections targets
- Ensure compliance in cash accounting & collections norms; identify fraudulent practices & take corrective steps
Functional Responsibilities :
- Define and review collection strategies for the zone; establish processes for efficient collections and recovery; forecasting the possible defaults & likely closures
- Gain market pulse through meetings with channel partners & engage in direct field visits for key accounts
- Work closely with sales, credit policy & legal teams for jointly arriving at necessary course of action for defaulters or potential defaulters
- Ensure collections efficiency in zone assigned- achieve collections targets while controlling cost of collections
- Predictive analytics, boost collections through incentives / programs and explore alternate venues for collections
