Position Name : Head - Cloud Infrastructure and Datawarehouse

Location : Mumbai BKC

Purpose:

The incumbent will be a subject matter expert on various areas of IT Infrastructure Compute (server), virtualization & consolidation, storage, network, software defined environments and security.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Should have hands on experience in the field of virtualization technologies from (at least one vendor) IBM, VMware, Microsoft, Redhat and a good grasp of Cloud Computing concepts and building blocks of creating an end-to-end private and public IaaS / PaaS cloud solutions and hybrid Cloud solutions.

He will be required to engage with multiple vendors at business level, understanding security/ compliance requirements, translating them to technology solutions, writing scope-of-work and presenting technical solutions to them.

He must be able to manage large and complex projects working in a matrix environment. Crafting highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address business problems and accelerate the adoption of virtualization services.

Apart from the above, he would be required to manage Datawarehouse and analytics governance council to provide executive sponsorship for and oversight of governance policy creation and compliance.

- Develop a deep understanding of the business and client experience to facilitate triage of incident reports, communication, and identification of work arounds and contingency arrangements

- Communication Communicate effectively to key stakeholders across the organization including senior business, country, risk, and technology stakeholders to keep them informed about the impact and status of ongoing technology incidents.

- Knowledge Management Follow up with internally post service resumption to ensure root cause is identified and preventive measures implemented to avoid recurrences.

- People / Training Foster productive working relationships within technology. Empower next level of leadership to ensure no resource risk. Work closely with the team to engage and develop their career aspirations Manage people and their development in line with the banks people management framework

Technical Competency

Cloud Infra Architecture -

- Cloud Assessment: Planning, and assessment of various cloud solutions platforms.

- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud

Cloud Development Tools: Cloud Foundry, Pivotal, Open Shift, Docker, Kubernetes etc., experience in Virtualization Platforms

Innovative technologies: containers, Scalar, CloudBolt, Kubernetes, Mesos, ZooKeeper, Marathon, Microservice architecture, Cloud Foundry, OpenStack, CloudForms, ManageIQ

Infrastructure (Server/ Storage/ Network), Cisco UCS and POD architecture

Datawarehouse

- Manage Datawarehouse/DataLake, data strategy, data governance, data management, and data science/analytics teams

- Lead regulatory and compliance programs related to data and analytics assets

- Define, manage and advance enterprise information management principles, policies and programs for stewardship, advocacy and custodianship of data and analytics

- Devops, SecOps and Agile methodologies, processes, and automated CICD tools

- Ensure business and dashboard reporting

- Ensuring HA, Resiliency, Fault tolerant deployment of Enterprise databases leading to 5 nine availabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

- BE/B.Tech.

- Minimum 25+ years

- Sound Business knowledge of Financial Sector/ Stock Exchange / Banking
