Job Description - As Head of Clinical Data Operations & Strategy for a leading pharmaceutical client you will be based in Hyderabad. You will be accountable for driving, evolving and executing operations and strategic vision for Clinical Trials of the future and ensuring that they are operating at the 'cutting edge' vis-a-vis industry standards by driving innovation projects and initiatives that increase quality, reduce cost and increase speed of delivery.

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company which is engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of a range of healthcare products led by pharmaceuticals with affiliates present in almost 140 countries. Its range of products includes pharmaceuticals and oncology medicines, generic and biosimilar medicines, and eye care devices.

Description

Reporting into the Global Head of Data Operations, you shall be responsible for:

- Lead a large team (700+) while collaborating with senior leadership across Clinical Data Operations team in order to define the strategic vision and oversee the deployment plan to realise this vision

- Driving data and digital innovation projects to continuously improve quality, increase speed of delivery and reduce cost in order to build best in class operations.


- Ensuring awareness of trends in the industry and to track new capabilities and technologies to ensure Data Operations operates at the cutting edge of available technology.


- Ensuring appropriate KPI's / Oversight metrics and measures are in place to track progress versus targets/objectives along with being accountable for management Data Operations budget


- Provide executive oversight to the Data Operations portfolio and collaborate to ensure that future DO resourcing is appropriately defined and clear plans are in place


- Collaborating with stakeholders within DO and across other teams to ensure that appropriate support is active and available


- creating, shaping and managing the internal/external messaging and communication strategy impacting Data Operations, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives and priorities


- Supporting an environment for controlled risk-taking with high standards to ensure an innovative mindset is fostered and encouraged down through the organisation


Profile

To be successful as Head - Strategy and Operations, you should:

- BA/BS/MS or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, health sciences or related field

- At least 15+ years of experience in clinical development with extensive experience (6+ years) in Clinical Data Management/ Data Analytics


- Prior experience of leading large (500+) global teams


- Strong leadership, collaboration and organisational skills with proven ability to successfully manage numerous, simultaneous projects/trials across multiple Franchises and meet deadlines


- Must be able to anticipate challenges and risks and proactively implement solutions


- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and time management skills


- Ability to work under pressure demonstrating agility through effective and innovative leadership


- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to operate effectively in a global environment. Ability to influence and communicate across functions and to external stakeholder
