Head - Claims Settlement/Management - Infra/Energy Sector (10-18 yrs)

Position Title-Head-Claims Management

Position Reports To- Infra CFO

- Tracking and assessing potential revenue claims to be considered for infra BU projects (due to change in law etc.)

- Ensuring appropriate documentation of potential claim incidents

- Coordinating with project teams, legal and govt. affairs team to ensure comprehensiveness of details for regulatory filings

- File regulatory petition in appropriate forum (CERC, State regulators etc.) for getting revenue claims within reasonable timelines

- With legal support - present the supporting argument in relevant forums (if required) and follow up for closure

- Support O&M teams in getting receivables in timely manner

- Support in LD waiver if required

Experience and Requirements - 

- Professional with over 10 years of experience in handling claims/ legal matters/ commercials.

- Experience in filing government petitions and handling senior government officials

- Relationships in central and state regulator preferred

- Representing firms at government forums

Educational Requirements and Skill-sets

- Graduate Engineer with 10-15 years of relevant experience

- Exposure and experiences interfacing with External focus/experience with Govt bodies, industry, forums etc


- % tariff increase through claims

- % claims completed successfully

- No LD levy on infra projects

- Receivable days for projects

- Monitoring/Developing relationships at regulator level

- Inputs to Policy department on regulatory aspects

- Implementation of IT based tool for claim management Process
