A leading Retail company is looking for a Head IT/ CIO, based in Mumbai. The role would be responsible for the following : - Provide technological leadership to the IT team - Set strategic direction & lead the IT Function towards meeting current and future information and technology needs of the Company - Drive focus on digital technologies and Application Development - Review enterprise systems architecture; approve standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software and interconnection of information systems - Review and govern policies and procedures to ensure the protection of enterprise IT assets - Approve new application development projects for various enterprise & application domains and IT acquisition contracts - Approve aspects related to the selection, acquisition, deployment of hardware and networking infrastructure - Govern IT procurement standards and processes for enterprise software. - Guide IT, managers, in ensuring adherence to procurement and planning requirements, compliance with budget procedures and technological activities of the organization - Make certain that solution design and delivery meet business requirements and expectations regarding cost, schedule and scope - Closely Track return on investments on IT initiatives - Govern implementation of all strategic projects and drive mechanisms to ensure successful implementation. - Approve selection of external partners for all new digital technologies and strategic vendors for other IT products and services - We are looking for candidates with a strong experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Applications, Cloud Solutions, ERP Implementation - Candidates with 12-16 years of experience, would be an ideal fit.
