Head - Change Management - Engineering Firm (15-20 yrs)

It is a leading Engineering PMC organization in Feasibility, Pre-Feasibility Studies, DPR (Detailed Project Reports), Detail Engineering, Construction Supervision, Project Supervision, Advisory Services in infrastructure sectors i.e. Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Hydropower, Power Distribution, Railways & Metro, Ports, Inland Waterways, Environment, Digital & Tech Innovations. We have operating across the country and in Myanmar with over 1400 people workforces and have been retained by prestigious clients like National Highways Authority of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways and various other central & state government agencies.

- This position will work as a profit center head and act as BU. This BU shall be created separately and will generate and execute business operations. Level could be Asst. Vice President or Vice President Level.

- Rationale - Changes in business bring about acceleration in business and the rate which with changes take place w.r.t. Technology etc and its response creates disruption in ongoing processes and workflow that is already existing in the organization. Business Units/ Functions, and projects with effective change management are likely to be successful, And therefore the discipline of Change Management and Change Management Job Market is increasingly becoming popular.

Role of Change Management Leader - The Change Management Leader plays an important role in the success of organizational change such as


(1.) changes to business processes


(2.) technologies


(3.) organizational structure


(4.) job roles, and systems.


(5.) The role entails engagement level on people's side of the change i.e. identifying the impact of change, getting them ready for change, and handling any resistance to change. The role of the Change Management Leader is to -

a. Prepare the organization for change to realize maximum benefits & ROI.

b. Mitigate any negative impacts to both Internal and External Members who are impacted or are involved.

c. Formulate & Implement strategies to ensure a faster rate of adoption and acceptance among employees w.r.t. business processes, technology, organizational structure, job roles, systems, etc. And also minimize resistance among employees. Minimize negative effects and maximize the benefits of organizational change.

d. Develop change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives.

e. Work with all levels in the organization, and provide support and coaching advice to business leaders, middle management, managers, and executives during the transition.

f. Evaluate the impact of planned change within the organization.

g. Identify risks and develop risk mitigating strategies.

h. Identify and manage anticipate resistance to change.

i. Lead Change Management work streams with a structured methodology/process.

j. Support developing communications relevant to change initiatives.

k. Providing Coaching, Training to employees at all levels.

l. Define success metrics and measurement of performance of changes.

m. Update, Report w.r.t. reports, MIS, and effectiveness of the changes.

n. Assist Business Development team in proposal making, presentations, client meetings, negotiations, etc for new prospective business for change management opportunities with clients on existing and upcoming projects.

Experience, Qualification & Education:

a. Minimum 15-20 years of relevant work experience in Change Management, Should have handled large change management projects in Digitalization OR Major Organizational Structural changes.

b. Management Postgraduate preferably with an Engineering background.

c.. People from Large conglomerates shall be preferred.
