We are hiring Head - Central Procurement for world-class technology-based B2B commerce ecosystem company based at Mumbai.

Our client aims to build a full-stack technology platform to become the one-stop solution for all supply chain procurement needs of our clients. Currently distributing Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) products to 200+ leading MNCs, PSUs and Corporates across the Automobile, Chemical, FMCG, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, Pharma and Power sectors.

Role: Head - Central Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

- Scale up the existing procurement team to build a - Procurement Center of Excellence- of 40+ procurement executives

- Institutionalize processes to establish best practices of procurement

- Developing relationships and working closely with enterprise clients to fulfill their orders across key categories

- Generating and developing relationships with suppliers of industrial goods and get best in market quotes to serve client orders

- Liaising with Accounts and Logistics teams ensure timely order fulfillment, and to receive supplier payments

- Leading a team of 40+ procurement executives for rapid fulfillment of client orders Does this sound like you

Must haves:

- 8+ years of experience in Procurement function of large enterprises (FMCG, Pharma, Consumer Durables) for Indirect and/or MRO purchase

- Strong relationships with suppliers dealing in Indirect / MRO categories

- Go-getter with a passion about building things from scratch

- MBA from a Tier 1/2 institution

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
