Head - Central Liquidation Team What you'll do : - Lead all value recovery sales for portfolio amounting $150 million on annual basis for Mobiles, devices and other such categories present - Lead, mentor and guide a team of sales & operations managers/senior managers and drive the function KPIs in a successful manner. - Responsible for business development and increasing the base of vendors, Improve business scale and consistency with existing vendor base. Create a comprehensive Vendor management strategy and governance framework. - Create Value recovery as a differentiated service with a competitive edge, Experiment and explore opportunities which help in complementing the forward sales - Build and ideate vendor partnerships which can anchor and stabilize the function deliverables - Work around with refurbishers and pre-owned goods business promoters to find the right and justified nextraction of a used /open box product value - Build value recovery channels of new initiatives like Assured Buy backs, Product exchange and tradein which supports the drive of consumer engines - Drive key initiatives within the organization to improve process & operational efficiencies, adapt lean operations management, use technology/ product solves to scale operations. - Work closely with cross functional teams on execution ownership, Collaborate and manage Stakeholders with both strategic and operational view. - Identify strategic initiatives, which allows company to scale as per the business needs. - Think big - unlock value for consumers, company and vendor partners People leadership : - Build, retain and groom a strong team of 25+ highly talented and driven individuals to deliver across functions - Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals What you'll need : - Educational background MBA from the top institute, 11+ years of experience. - Strong understanding of technology and business - Knowledge of Internet, Retail, the consumer goods industry is a plus - Desire and ability to think like the customer - Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion - Highly analytical and detail-oriented - Willing to take calculated risks to grow the category - Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills - Ability to connect with people across teams & levels - Proven people leadership skills - Must be willing to learn
