Client Details

Our client is a rapidly growing fashion brand with a reputation for creative and innovative designs. They have been operating in the Indian market for a few years now and boast a vast portfolio. They are looking to expand their operations significantly. Therefore, they are searching for a Head of Buying and Merchandising, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR

Description

Reporting to the business head, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing an annual buying plan for the company

- Managing relationships with key strategic vendors, thereby driving value for the business

- Having a detailed understanding of the current product mix and making effective additions to it

- Developing the Annual Range Plan and Merchandise Strategy for the company

- Understanding the trends in the market through the analysis of historical data and subsequently forecasting for the seasons ahead

- Identifying and planning for the optimum range with the accountability of pricing and cost negotiations

- Managing a team of more than 4-5 professionals with responsibility for their growth in the organization

Profile

You will be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Fashion, with around 10 years of experience in buying & sourcing across retail organisations/buying agencies and export houses. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills with the ability to manage business operations independently
