Position: Head - Business Systems (Leading Retail Company)

Role - 

- This position will report into the CIO of the company

- Be responsible for end-to-end business systems for the company right from defining the Business Systems strategy in-line with the business strategy till project management, execution, IT Infrastructure, support etc.

- Will work closely with the operational businesses to ensure the Information Systems needs are addressed to ensure the most efficient of business processes

- Collaborating with the business and its partners to define and deliver change

- Reporting to the CIO, as Head of Business Solutions, you- ll define, plan and lead delivery of the IT Systems Strategy and Programme Management across the business

- Will take a proactive view of the systems in the organisation and build for the future

- The incumbent will be tasked with ensuring projects are delivered on time and establishing a robust project methodology, oversee resource planning and business analyst activities

- Act as a solution architect when considering new systems, manage both an internal team & third parties for delivery

- Will also be responsible for the IT Infrastructure, IT Security, Network health, IT operations streamling, monitoring of IT Infrastructure

- Work on the digital strategy and its execution as well as systems and processes for enhancing customer engagement

Requirements:

- Engg (MBA, preferred but not essential)

- 18-25 yrs of experience in technology, with good understanding of business processes and their re-engineering

- Should have a good understanding of business processes and technology, especially in the retail sector as well as IT Infrastructure/ IT Security, etc.

- Should have a proactive view of the systems in the organisation and be able to visualise, strategise and build for the future

- Retail sector experience is required

- Previous experience in managing multiple IT systems as well as Project and Delivery Management

- Should have an attitude which is eager to learn and grow

- You will be comfortable in the details of technology but have the ability to take step back and see the bigger picture when required

- Excellent communications skills are essential for the role, especially with non-technical and senior stakeholders
