JOB PURPOSE OL - Business Policy &amp; Insights leads a team of analysts that use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas for and methods of improving risk and operations. The position entails implementing analytical approaches and methodologies and assists in the interpretation of results to the business. The position is also responsible for providing input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. The person should be independently capable of resolving escalated issues arising from business, operations risk and requiring coordination with other departments. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES : - Develop high-impact customers insights utilizing advanced statistical procedures, models and techniques. - Develop and implement analytical methodologies, processes, and technological solutions that integrate diverse information and generate analytical insights - Stimulate analytical thought leadership through moving the organization forward to be more effectual to use analytics. - Interface with the business to understand the business problem and position appropriate analytical solutions - Ensure accurate, on time output to business requirements. - Encourage team members and supervise work effectively. - Manage team project's portfolio on the basis of priority as well as resources. - Provide on time and related feedback both formal as well as informal. - Manage a team of upto 15 analysts SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE : - Deep knowledge of the financial services industry - Demonstrated analytical skills squeezing- insights from data - Experience of working on analytical projects end-to-end: problem scoping, data gathering, visualizations, modeling and insights - Problem-solving: Ability to break the problem into small problems and think of relevant techniques which can be explored &amp; used to cater to those - Should have expertise in interpreting findings &amp; extracting insights - Knowledge of one of the analytical languages (SAS/R, etc) mandatory - Knowledge of at least a few analytical approaches required - Experience in Python and Machine Learning is preferred
