Role Description :

Anudip Foundation is looking to hire a seasoned professional as its Head of Business Operations to oversee the organization's ongoing business operations and lead and manage its key support functions such as Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Business Finance, Internal IT Infrastructure Team, Office Administration & Facility Management, and Legal & Compliance.

The Head of Business Operations role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting into the CEO. As the Head of Business Operations, the incumbent will be responsible developing growth strategies and for ensuring that Anudip Foundation has effective people processes, operational, functional and financial capabilities and processes & procedures in place to enable sustainable and consistent growth.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for Business Operations & Growth Strategies

2. Lead and manage all the support functions at Anudip Foundation, while ensuring the functional goals & deliveries are aligned to the overall business goals of the foundation and support the growth & cost metrics of the organization.

3. Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures in support of the organizational goals

4. Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives in all the support function (IT, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Administration etc.)

5. Assist CEO in discharge of her responsibilities & any other strategic initiatives

6. Develop and Deliver Reports & Dashboard the CEO as required

7. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth

8. Establish policies that promote company culture and vision

9. Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication

10. Evaluate organization's performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

11. Participate in expansion & growth activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)

12. Manage relationships with partners/vendors

13. Work together with key members of the leadership team to compile the annual budget and the Annual Operating Plan.

14. Spearheading strategies to steer the organization's future in a positive direction.

15. Driving the organizations- operating capabilities to surpass stakeholder (Funder, employer) satisfaction and retention, and the goals.

16. Efficiently manage & allocate organization resources to ensure sustainable growth

17. Manage & control costs, through strong & disciplined approach to execution & frugal approach to financial management - this includes introducing strategic / tactical initiatives to improve returns on stakeholder funding and managing cash flow effectively

18. Monitoring invoices, money handling procedures, accounting and bank processes.

19. Preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports.

20. Overseeing marketing and branding initiatives while ensuring high brand visibility across all channels & medium

21. Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members in the support function grow as capable & empowered employees.

22. Employing various HR initiatives to coach & mentor and groom employees to optimize their capabilities.

23. Lead the Goal Setting Processes including development of Functional KRAs and completing performance reviews in a prudent manner within stipulated time.

24. Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.

25. Align Internal IT organization for responsive & timely IT support to internal employees

26. Align Facilities & Administration team to ensure all facilities are safe, secured and a consistent standard is maintained across offices & centers.

Qualifications :

- MBA from Tier 1-2 Institute

- Graduate | Post Graduate in any discipline

Experience :

1. 18-20 years of experience in of which min 4+ years should be in a Business Head / Functional Head role

2. Previous experience as a Head of Business Operations, COO or in COO's office would be relevant and useful

3. Experience in managing a complex enterprise's human resources, finances, marketing, operations and strategies

4. Experience and track record of managing complex budgets; Experience in managing and administering donor / grant funding while achieving defined outcomes is a must

5. Experience of working in Not for Profit Organization, Social Enterprise, DFI's is desirable but not mandatory

6. Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise

7. Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership

Skills and Competencies :

1. Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels

2. Strong Interpersonal skills; Should demonstrate patience & perseverance

3. Ability to make business projections three years into the future

4. Should have good knowledge and practical experience in the area of General Management, Business Operations, Marketing & Communications, Human Resources, Internal CIO Organization

5. Experience in managing complex Programs & Projects

6. Should be able to offer strategic counsel, business insights to the CEO and other members of the leadership team

7. Must have the inclination towards society and working for marginalized community ;

Key Performance Measures :

1. Cost of Business Operation [ Cost Marketing, BD, Center Operations, People Cost, IT & Procurement Cost] reduced Q-on-Q and Y-on-Y

2. ROI on Marketing Spends; Brand Awareness of Anudip in relevant market segment; Media Share of Voice & Social Media Following

3. Employee Attrition, Time and Cost of Hiring, Employee Engagement Level

4. Return on Funds Deployed; Reduction in outstanding & receivables
