The Organization (About the Client)

The group is substantially scaling up its operations in India / SEA - from 200 current locations to over 10,000+ locations - across formats - the country by 2020. Turnover well over USD500 million.

The Assignment (The Role / Job Description)

Head Business / Network Development reports to Group CEO or CEO Affordable segment.

The incumbent will lead - the identification, acquisition, furnishing (through a civil / design team) - and handover the premises to the business - fully ready for operations.

Over 10,000+ premises across formats, across country, spread over Class B towns to rural areas - panchayats / taluka HQs.

The Person (Candidate Details)

I. Experience:

a) Around 45 years

b) Legal + MBA preferred

c) Minimum 15 yrs. of relevant experience in telecom, retail, QSR, Healthcare (Chemists / diagnostic clinics)

d) Pan India exposure required

e) Good knowledge of Real Estate market preferred

II. Competence / Skills:

a) Strong negotiating / commercial skills required

b) Assertive, Go-getter, high drive & energy

c) Good knowledge of Rural market

d) Ability to scale up large operations

e) Experience of working with Systems & Processes

Work Experience:

20 to 25 yrs
