Role:

The company is seeking for a Head of Investments. The role will majority involve arranging nontraditional & traditional Financing for Businesses in India and Abroad mostly Unsecured Funding for Business Expansion for the company, analyzing investment opportunities, advising the company on how to build a strong and balanced corporate portfolio of investment considering all possible variables in the business environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Planning of the right ratio of capital that should be raised from debt and equity.

- Deciding the right source of long-term finance by analyzing elements such as cost, risk, etc.

- Understanding various sources of finance for long term as well as short term.

- Maintaining good relations with bankers and other stakeholders, building a strong network.

- Familiarity with banking procedures, requirements for obtaining secured or unsecured finance, pledging, collateral and inventory finance.

- Staying updated with the latest market trends and being well versed with various financial market instruments such as equity, bonds, etc.

- Understanding finance through venture capital, making and building relationships with venture capitalists.

- Arranging for short term finance in terms promissory notes, commercial papers, factoring, letter of credit, bank comfort letter, bank guarantees and advance payment guarantee in order to fund working capital requirements.

- Understanding and arrangement of line of credit and revolving credit agreements.

- Understanding and arrangement of line of credit and revolving credit agreements.

- Engages in regular research and reading to stay apprised about the state of the economy, global financial markets, and general current events.

- Arrangement of moratorium in case of the company's existing long-term debt fund commitments.

- Analyzing short-term and long-term fund flow and should have the ability for developing budgets & to establish financial control.

- Fluency and well versed with dealings in financial markets to optimize the company's portfolio of investment i.e. Sale and purchase of company stock, bonds.

- Strong forecasting skills in terms of long term, short term and cash flow forecasting.

- Monitoring portfolio of companies and executing value creation plan.

- Must have good network of qualified individuals from related field to build & expand his team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Strong command on English Language. (Mandatory).

- Strong Network with Bankers, Private Investors, Lenders, NBFC, Chartered Accountants, NBFCs.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The candidate is expected to have proficient presentation skills and technical writing skills.

- Prior Experience in all kind of financial lending services, Project finance, business finance, commercial finance, Industrial Finance, Hospital project finance, Building development construction finance, Government project finance, International Finance and all kind of financial instrument, Bank Guarantee (BG), Standby Letter Of Credit (SB LC), Domestic & International Import Export LC, MTN Bond, PPP & HYIP Program. Currency exchange USD EURO, UERO USD, Monetize bank instrument up to 80% LTV, Direct to trade program Tier 1,HK Top 10 Daily Tear sheet Trading Program cash account USD/Euro and up NO BLOCKING , NO SWIFT Bank instrument trading program USD/Euro only for top rated bank.

- Prior experience and knowledge in Personal Loan, Unsecured Business Loan, Unsecured Professional Loan, Home Loan, Home Loan Bt & Top Up, Loan Against Property(Lap),Lap Bt & Top Up, Commercial Purchase, Commercial Purchase Bt & Top Up, Lease Rent Discounting(Lrd), Lrd Plus Topup, Car Loan, Used Car Loan, Refinance On Cars Upto 150%, Working Capital (Over draft- Cc, Term Loan, Letter of Credit, Bank guarantee, Bc) Working Capital Takeover & Enhancement, Packing Credit -Export -Import Finance, Credit Cards, Las (Loan Against Shares), Project Loan.

- Ability to deliver quality work under high pressure considering strict deadlines.

- Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work in teams.

- Proficient in use of computer software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.) to produce professional looking documents of international standards.

- Must be well versed with various concepts of finance and investment.

- Strong hold on subjects such as annuity, present and future value, leverage, etc.

- Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.

- Ability to make decisions having long term implications.

- Modelling and valuation of investment opportunities.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates fitting the job description, that hold a Bachelor's degree in business, finance or other qualification considered equivalent to the same may apply for the said job.

Hold the degree and experience of Chartered Accountant.

Experience:

Should have minimum experience of 8-10 years in private equity, corporate finance, strategy consulting, financial planning, investment, banking and other related fields.

Age:40 years & above
