Head - Business Finance - Automobile - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Hiring for a Strategic Role into the Business Finance Domain with a Leading Global Player in the Automobile segment.

Job Location: Pune

Job Purpose: Partnering the business by helping translate strategies into numbers.

Key Deliverables:

- Topline and Market Share Ambition

- Bottomline

- Identification and driving Cost Savings Opportunities in Products upto implementation with involvement of all stakeholders

- Dynamic Resource Allocation - to find the right utilisation of monies to be deployed between opportunities

- Pre and post evaluation - evaluating effectiveness of various interventions especially marketing actions around 4Ps - product, price, place and promotion

- Market mapping including geography, product, spec, price, schemes, etc

- Shadow Costing of Competition products and helping develop competitive strategies

- Market Share analysis - gain loss, etc

- Tracking key competition including innovation pipeline, recruitment, expansion, permissions, certificates, trademarks - an inhouse expert on them

- Liaison between BU and Finance to help smooth operations including preparation of proposals, etc

- Doing scenario analysis and working with the BU to help them structure their strategies with numbers and analysis

- Planning - Annual Operating Plan, medium term strategic plan, 4 quarter rolling forecast, pricing assumption basis market and cost assumptions, A&P assumptions, market share forecasts, new product introduction business case, etc.

Competencies :-

a. Finance professional - CA(1st attempt) or MBA Finance From Premium Institute.

b. Should have done a stint in Financial Planning & Analysis or Finance Business Partnering in a B2C business

c. Exposure to manufacturing organisation or being an engineer would be an added advantage

d. Individual Contributor role and hence needs to be self-starter

e. Ability to work in high pressure cross functional teams
