Job Description:
As a Business Development/ Sales Head in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. You will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify target market segments, industry trends, and competitive landscape to optimize sales strategies.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress and make informed business decisions.
2. New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and projects.
- Conduct presentations and negotiations with prospective clients to secure new business partnerships.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to drive customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights, recommendations, and upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery and client retention.
4. Sales Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set sales targets, motivate team members, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
5. Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Develop and implement sales processes, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Generate regular sales reports and forecasts, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools and systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and monitor team performance.
Requirements:
- Domain experience is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achieving revenue targets in the BPO or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of BPO services, outsourcing trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of managing and motivating sales teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales-related tools.
- Flexibility to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
